PFUMC 5/10K Run

Prattville First United Methodist Church hosted a 5/10K competitive run to raise money for Youth Missions. Mr. M (who runs the Youth Program at PFUMC) invited me to come out and shoot the event.
i was happier with our zoom lens than i have been in a long time, especially when compared to some of the shots i took in the first portion of this set (which were shot with my walkaround lens).
its probably not so much the LENS i was more happy with as it was the IS. we drove around the course on a golf cart, so all shooting was done “on the move” and very quickly. the 24-70mm is non-IS, and it shows.
i want IS in my main lens, like f’reals.
