iPhone 4 + HD Video + Pixelpipe = BandAid

i mentioned in my "review" of the iPhone 4 yesterday how silly/stupid/ludicrous/flabbergasting (?) it was that i couldn't upload the HD video i shot with the handset over the air in quality higher than 360p.

in steps Pixelpipe! yeah, its sort of a bandaid over the whole thing for now, and yes, its yet another service to sign up for, but hey, if it means that much to you to upload while you're not at a desk, you can connect it to a whole number of services (including YouTube & Flickr) and be done with it.

except no Vimeo. sad. hopefully that will come later. i sorta' hate YouTube, and Flickr videos only work on mobile devices when using the official Flickr app.

all the footage thats fit to upload

... meh. its nice in HD.

philip bloom

right now, there is no other filmmaker doing quite what he is doing, and he's completely become my inspiration/indirect mentor for what i'm "doing" with video right now. so freaking brilliant.

disney in tilt-shift

do yourself a favor and watch this on the actual YouTube page, in HD. all created from an incredibly extensive set of photographs.

brilliant work.
