about LOST
tonight, Mr. M made an entry outlining why he's completely lost interest in LOST. part of it had to do with the writers/producers/creators setting an end date. thats what the first part of my response is about. the rest is more general. CONTAINS NO SPOILERS.
thoughts on LOST
i've yet to make a post about LOST this season, mainly because getting caught up in blogging about it gets me way too caught in overthinking it. this being the final season, i'm just trying to enjoy the ride.
tonight's episode was, i feel, a filler episode. a good filler, but a filler nonetheless (unlike, say "Exposé" or the one guest starring Bai Ling [shudder]). i felt compelled, however, to make note of one particular thing from tonight's episode, "Recon."

so when Claire attacked Kate, it was really disconcerting that Sayid just sat there. did nothing. just watched, almost as if he knew what was coming and was completely cool with it. i mean... Sayid! he's mister Heart of Gold under the killer's stare! so is there actually something to the whole "darkness" thing, or is it simply he doesn't care anymore? hm.
ok. that was all.
LOST + 24
most of you will fall into one of three camps...
- you will NOT watch this and roll your eyes about how much LOST sucks now and you're just ready for it to end.
- you will watch about three minutes, get bored, and move on to something a bit more culturally enlightened.
- you will watch the whole thing, realize there's a scene towards the end that's "not canonical," crap your pants, and rewatch it. over and over again.
