AC2010 video(s)
these are two of the three churches we featured in this year's AC2010 "big video." boss lady and i decided it would be nice to take each church's story and expand them into their own, separate stories. in this post, we've got Samson FUMC and Greensboro FUMC. we're missing Woodlawn UMC because for some reason, one of the plugins i used on the work computer doesn't have the correct registration, so it left this godawful watermark on the video (which i didn't notice until i left the office for the day). i'll have it up later. enjoy!
summer 2009 videos
as many of you know (well... maybe not), i had a fairly massive video project this past summer involving a number of the AWFUMC's agencies & institutions. i wrapped everything up the other day and after uploading to the Conference's video portal, decided to upload them to my Vimeo page.
hopefully, the neat Carousel o' Videos displays properly. if not, click here to get to the whole set.
what i'm doing tomorrow
early saturday morning (like, butt-crack of dawn early), i'm headed to Auburn to do some filming for work. one of our Conference's agencies, Alabama Rural Ministries, is putting on a "stunt" (in a good way) to raise awareness as part of Poverty Awareness Week.
at 8am, their director, Lisa Pierce, will begin life in a box and will stay until they raise $10,000 for the incredible work they do. its pretty good timing as well, as its Homecoming Weekend at the Loveliest On the Plains, so there's sure to be plenty of folks out and about. if you happen to be in Auburn tomorrow, they'll be stationed in front of the Auburn Wesley Foundation building. below is the promotional video they put together to help explain what it is they do.

in other news...
had our weekly checkup on Thursday and suffice it to say, there's been very little action on the Rosemary front. some, but very little. i think its safe to say, we're all sorta' ready to get this ball rolling. i'm thisssssclose to clearing my work docket out (finally) and we're finally getting to the point where taking new appointments is getting iffy.
suffice it to say... i think we're both kinda' "over it" now and are ready to move on. i think.
also, as i tweeted at some point earlier today, unless i specifically begin stating as such, anything involving anxiety/worry/waiting/etc. does not involve baby stuff. seriously. you'll know when i say so.
