the Office wedding

initially, i thought there were some good, solid bits in here.

but the more i thought about it, the more it just felt kinda'... lazy. the Three Wolves t-shirt? that YouTube dance? i admit, i laughed at the Three Wolves shirt, but the YouTube wedding intro dance thing... ehhh...

i hope this season doesn't just spiral downward like season, although... i think now that the wedding is over, they should kill the show. done. that's it.

I was beginning to wonder if I was the only one that was underwhelmed by it. I didn't hate it; I just didn't love it. And I really, really, really wanted to love it.

a friend of mine had a good idea: after Jim & Pam's baby is born, kill the show. they desperately need to figure out a good way to end this show, and soon. it sometimes feels like a chore or an obligation to click 'Play' on TiVo.

I agree that that would be a nice, logical ending point. What I'm not sure about is if I'm ready to lose both Lost and The Office in the same year!

we just watched last night.

you think the youtube dance thing wasn't funny and you were at least familiar with what that even WAS... imagine me watching with Mr. H who has not the first clue about the youtube wedding video in the first place. jokes get even less funny when you have to explain them in detail. ha!

i know a lot of people said the show got immediately less funny when pam & jim got together but you can't please everyone all the time. back when the pam & jim thing was going to drag out for yet ANOTHER season (right before they got together), i was about to quit watching because of how tedious that joke was getting. so you know...it goes both ways i guess.

PS (I did think when Michael was explaining to Pam's grandma about the pregnancy after Jim spilled the beans was HYSTERICAL... "it's a different sensation.")
